Nothing to refund yet, and easy to leave later

The service is free during the preview and nothing in it can take a payment, so there is nothing to refund today. What follows is the policy that applies from the day billing starts. We publish it now so you can see it before you are ever asked to pay.

Today

You pay nothing and you are never asked for a card. To stop, pause from Settings, or delete your account, and that is the end of it. Both also work from the footer of any email we send you, without signing in.

When billing starts

It will be a monthly subscription, shown with any VAT included, charged month by month with no minimum term. The price is not settled yet and neither is whether there will be more than one plan; both will be on the pricing page before anyone is asked to pay. We will email you before the first charge and you will have to agree to it; nobody moves from the free preview to paying without saying yes. After that, we email you a few days before each monthly charge, so none is a surprise.

Cancelling

Cancel at any time from Settings, with one button and no need to contact us. You keep the service until the end of the month you have paid for, and no further charge is taken. Pausing is not cancelling: pausing keeps your account and, once there is a price, keeps the subscription. To stop paying, cancel.

The 14-day cooling-off period

As a consumer in Ireland, the EU or the UK you can withdraw from a subscription within 14 days of paying for it, for any reason. Because the service starts the moment you pay, the law would let us keep a share for the days you used; we will not. Cancel within 14 days of your first payment and we refund it in full, to the card you paid with, within 14 days of your telling us.

After the cooling-off period

A month you have started is not refunded when you cancel part-way through: you keep the service to the end of it instead. We make one exception without being asked. If a month goes by in which we sent you nothing at all and did not tell you why, write to us and we refund that month.

If something is wrong

If the service does not do what this site says it does, you have the rights the law gives you for a digital service: to have it put right, and if we cannot, to a price reduction or a refund. Tell us what went wrong and we will fix it or refund the month, whichever you prefer.

Price changes

If the price changes, we email you at least 30 days before it applies to you, and you can cancel before then and pay nothing more. We will not raise the price of a month you have already paid for.

Not yet decided

Who invoices you, which payment provider handles the card, and whether a UK price is charged in pounds by a UK entity or by the Irish company are settled when the company is formed and billing is built. They will be here before anyone is asked to pay. Nothing above changes because of them.
